Description

This vessel was turned from a piece of Black Walnut.  The form was hollowed with wall thickness of about 1/8" with wood left around the bottom for the legs. I then power carved the legs  and sanded the piece. I then applied milk paint to the interior and exterior. I felt that something was missing and added the nubbly texture with artist gesso. It is kinda of a whimsical piece but it is one of my favorites.
