Description

This bowl was turned from a piece of Florida Ash. After turning the bowl I noticed the the growth rings were off center. I dyed the piece dark blue and after several coats of a lacquer finish a liming wax was applied to enhance the porous growth rings. I then flattened a small spot on the side so that it would sit at a angle making the rings look like a peacock.
