Description

This vessel was turned from cherry laurel wood. I turned this vessel from dry wood to its final shape. I then hollowed the interior and sanded the interior and exterior. I used pyrography tools to apply the basket banding to the rim. I then painted the exterior with brick red milk paint. The interior was given a contrasting color with acrylic paint. I think I must have been influenced in the form of this piece by my trip to the Southwest.  I really enjoy seeing this piece in my gallery everyday.
