Description

This bowl was turned from Walnut. This walnut was from a local tree that was 36" in diameter and had been struck by lighting. The man that gave me the tree said that his father had planted the tree just after the turn of the century.  This bowl has a walnut oil finish and would work well as a decorative piece or a bowl for your fruit. Walnut is a great wood to turn, it has a unique smell as its turned.
